Garrett Tubular Services LLC "GTS" is a 100 acre storage facility located 1 mile north of Amber, Oklahoma.  This storage facility has the capabilities of receiving material by rail or truck.  Our rail is serviced by Stillwater Central Rail Road with 1660’ of usable rail spur located in the pipe yard. The rail spur can accommodate up to 21 - 76' rail cars at a time.  We are centrally located and accessible from all state highways. We are accepting all trucks and rail cars at this facility.

When pipe is received via truck or rail car, the material is off loaded and is recorded in our TDSW  (Tubular Data System) software. It then will be assigned a location on a numbered, precast pipe rack. As the pipe is being unloaded we use our Scan Systems Tally-Rite to get actual footage of the pipe received. The actual pipe tally totals are down loaded in our TDSV program to ensure proper inventory control. Inventory tallies can be faxed or e-mailed at anytime upon request. Notice of receipts of inbound and outbound shipments are made on a same-day basis. Full storage inventory reports are printed monthly or upon request. We are available after hours for load-out. Our yard crews and trucks are ready 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Our pipe facility employees are IPIA Certified for Clean and Visual Thread Inspection and Drift. Currently GTS is in the process of installing a 100% solid state five function EMI inspection unit that will be in the inspection facility at the Amber pipe yard. We are anticipating this service being available in mid June 2008. We will offer EMI inspection, clean and visual thread inspection, full length drift, and hydrostatic pressure testing. They have been properly trained in PPE, safety, equipment operation, and proper materials handling including; but not limited to; tubing, casing, and line pipe. This is an additional safety precaution we feel is important for our customers.
